r/CozyPlaces collects original photos of spaces that feel warm, restful, and inviting—across budgets and geographies. Rank #108 on our SFW list (about 7.4 million subscribers). The moderators’ definition of cozy is comfort and relaxation; the rules then operationalise that by forbidding pets, people, or objects as the focal point, and by requiring original photography.
What to submit
Original photos where the place itself is the subject. Titles should not be sob stories or clickbait. Art pieces and branded product placement are out.
Versus photography and living-space advice
itookapicture wants critique of photographic craft. Living-space advice subs want floor plans and shopping help. CozyPlaces wants a feeling conveyed by a room or nook, without turning the thread into pet content or human portraits. That focal-point rule is the main cultural filter.
Practical pointers
Shoot OC, keep it SFW, keep the cozy place dominant in frame. Activity samples are image and gallery heavy at a moderate daily pace.
