About r/AnimalsBeingBros
In its own words:
A place for sharing videos, gifs, and images of animals being bros.
Community guide
r/AnimalsBeingBros is a narrow wholesome niche: animals helping, comforting, or otherwise “being bros”—not generic cute animal clips. Rank #112 (about 6.9 million subscribers). The first rule we collected is the whole product definition: only animals being bros, not normal animal behaviour; staged content is removed.
Editorial focus
Share videos, gifs, or images that show cooperative or caring animal behaviour beyond baseline cuteness. Memes, compilations, clothing, and social-media deep links are excluded under the rule list.
Versus Derps, Jerks, and Aww
AnimalsBeingDerps and Jerks highlight clumsy or antagonistic moments; Aww is general cuteness. AnimalsBeingBros is the altruism/cooperation lane. HumansBeingBros is the human counterpart. If the animal is only looking adorable, Aww is the honest sub.
Practical pointers
No NSFW; no breed hate; no comments celebrating harm. Post direct media, not social embeds. Activity samples show very low daily volume—each post is rare, so fit-to-theme matters more than frequency.
